with the objective of creating art as a medium for progressive expressions of social change, genuine freedom and national democracy. General information

For more than a decade, KARATULA remains committed in advancing the people’s rights and welfare through the powerful force of a nationalist, scientific and mass oriented culture and the arts. It has been a dynamic partner of the youth and people’s movement in raising awareness, organizing and mobilizing the youth, using various creative cultural forms and engaging in a dialogue of culture in the context of struggle for meaningful change, especially among the poor and the marginalized.
