Meet the artist behind Digital Drawing and Nito Weaving on April 18 and 19, 2026 at ILOMOCA!

Anza Palma is an artist currently studying Digital Media and Interactive Arts. She works across traditional painting and digital illustration, and has further developed her practice through Puluy-an Art Space and Linangan Art Residency.

In her digital work, she reimagines everyday objects and experiences using vibrant, uplifting
colors. She aims to share her skills with beginners and aspiring artists interested in learning
digital art as it continues to grow in todayโ€™s generation.

Rofil Martinez Casipe kaupod ang mga Abyan, brings to life โ€œForest Gems and Wild Weavesโ€โ€”beautiful creations rooted in the communities of Nagpana and Catan-agan. An experienced nito vine artisan, Rofil honed her craft through design workshops with Ilonggo artist Marrz Capanang from 2015 to 2018. Her work is known for its unique, innovative, and chic approachโ€”reimagining traditional weaving into contemporary pieces.

Beyond her artistry, Rofil empowers her community by sharing skills and nurturing a collective passion for their weaving heritage, creating opportunities for dignified and sustainable livelihoods.

J.A. Sarmogenes is a multidisciplinary artist, performance artist, photographer, and Reiki practitioner whose works explore themes through abstract surrealism.

In this workshop, he shares not just the basics of acrylic painting, but also the confidence to explore your own artistic voice. From color mixing to brush techniques, participants are encouraged to express freely and enjoy the process of creating.
