NeoDrawing Salon Show is a curated group exhibition devoted entirely to drawing as a complete and intentional art form. Featuring works in pen & ink, line art, and dry media, the exhibition brings attention to the quiet power of line, mark, and hand-driven processes—where drawing stands not as preparation, but as the finished work itself.

Presented in reference to the Holy Week season, the exhibition reflects on themes of contemplation, silence, sacrifice, compassion, faith and doubt, endurance, renewal, and inner struggle—expressed through the direct and intimate language of drawing.

NeoDrawing Salon Show runs from March 14 to March 27, 2026. Join us for an exhibition that invites stillness, reflection, and a closer encounter with the essence of line.

Lady in Red holds a meaningful place in Paulo Tria’s artistic journey. Recognized with an Honorable Mention from the Art Renewal Center in the figurative category, the painting has remained largely unseen — making its presence here even more significant.

Created as a reflection on hope, peace, and the longing for a better future, the work invites quiet contemplation. The figure’s upward gaze suggests resilience — a belief in something beyond uncertainty.

Lady in Red is not loud in its message. Instead, it offers stillness. In person, it asks for nothing but a moment — a pause where connection, reflection, and possibility can gently unfold.

Vanity: Blinded By The Limelights explores the seductive nature of recognition and self-obsession.
Kelvin Madrid reflects on how success, earned through sacrifice and struggle, can slowly transform into fixation.

The “limelight” becomes both reward and trap. While achievement deserves acknowledgment, the work warns of losing sight of the journey, of abandoning the humility and values that once guided the climb. The brightness dazzles — and in that glow, humanity can fade.

Vanity: Blinded By The Limelights questions what remains when admiration replaces authenticity. Beneath the shine, the piece reveals a hollow hunger — a desire that is never fully satisfied.

Solace captures a deeply human instinct — the need to feel safe.
Neill Christian Onza portrays a figure curled into herself, knees drawn close, arms wrapped protectively around her body. The posture mirrors a fetal position — a universal gesture of self-soothing and quiet defense.

There is no dramatic action, only vulnerability. The composition emphasizes containment and introspection, suggesting moments when strength is not loud but internal. It speaks to emotional retreat not as weakness, but as restoration.

Solace reflects the body’s natural wisdom — how we fold inward to heal, to protect, and to find calm within ourselves.

Concern for Composed Life explores the silent emotional world of a young boy.
Ron Alec Paeste portrays a child carrying a bucket of paint — observant, restrained, and deeply aware.

Beneath his composed exterior lies hidden jealousy and unspoken longing. Shaped by parental guidance and empathy, he learns to control his feelings, even when he wishes to express them freely. The bucket becomes symbolic — carrying color, yet holding it in.

Concern for Composed Life reflects the complexity of growing up emotionally aware. It captures the tension between what is felt and what is shown — a quiet struggle between discipline and desire.

In Bloom reflects the quiet strength of growth in isolation.
Jano presents the idea of flourishing even in spaces that seem empty or forgotten — where beauty rises without guarantee of recognition.

The piece suggests resilience: that blooming does not always require ideal conditions. Sometimes, it happens in the middle of nowhere — driven by inner vitality rather than external support.

In Bloom is a reminder that growth can be solitary, but never insignificant. Even in silence, life insists on becoming.

ABOHAN is a deeply personal reflection on childhood and change.
Han-Han revisits memories from a time when life felt simpler yet more difficult — cooking with firewood in a separate kitchen, waking before dawn, enduring smoke and cold mornings before long walks to school.

What once felt exhausting and inconvenient now glows with warmth in memory. The abohan — the firewood stove — becomes a symbol of togetherness, resilience, and family closeness.

Through mixed media and relief techniques, the painting carries texture that feels almost tangible, as if the past is rising from the surface. ABOHAN preserves a warmth that time has taken away — not to return to it, but to remember it.

Kismet redefines the idea of fate.
Jerrick Prince Julian moves away from romantic destiny and turns inward — presenting fate as personal evolution.

Rather than two lovers finding each other, the painting speaks of growth shaped by decisions, failures, and quiet perseverance. Each step, even the missteps, becomes necessary. Each moment of doubt becomes part of becoming.

Kismet suggests that the most important destined encounter is not with another person — but with yourself. It is the realization that who you are now is exactly who you were meant to grow into.

Tisyu sa SB is part of Paul Tindugan’s ongoing exploration of creating art on tissue paper — a medium often overlooked and easily damaged. What started as simple outline sketches evolved into detailed works, inspired by the viral success of his 2019 portrait of Eddie Garcia drawn on tissue.

The fragility of tissue becomes the heart of the challenge. Easy to tear, yet capable of carrying ballpen ink and even acrylic paint, it transforms into an unlikely canvas of resilience and precision.

Tisyu sa SB reflects persistence and innovation — proving that even the most delicate material can become a powerful work of art when handled with patience and mastery.

Uy, May dumi sa mukha mo draws inspiration from Matthew 7:3–5 — a verse that calls for self-examination before criticism.
Kenneth Villegas translates this biblical reminder into a striking visual reflection.

The title feels confrontational at first, yet the deeper message is inward. It challenges the instinct to notice others’ flaws while ignoring our own. Through charcoal’s stark contrasts, the piece emphasizes clarity, humility, and accountability.

Uy, May dumi sa mukha mo is a reminder that growth begins with honest reflection — and that true wisdom starts by facing oneself.

Maagang Paglalakbay portrays a journey that is not literal, but symbolic.
Cholo Apostol reflects on the early passage toward maturity — where youth is shaped by responsibility and determination.

The work speaks of sacrifice and the quiet decision to face life’s challenges at a young age. It captures the weight of growing up sooner than expected, yet doing so with purpose and resolve.

Maagang Paglalakbay honors those who step forward early — embracing hardship not as burden alone, but as preparation for a stronger future.
