As we celebrate , for our , we feature Zininaga Na Cagayan (Heritage of Cagayan), highlighting significant archaeological discoveries since the launch of the Cagayan Valley Archaeological Project in the 1970s, through the collaborative work of pioneering Filipino and international archaeologists.

Let us learn more about our region, not only Cagayan as a province, but the entire Cagayan Valley, shaped by ancient seas and long geological processes, and later becoming a landscape that bears witness to the deep history of humanity. The region offers not only natural attractions, but also layered histories that extend beyond what we can fully grasp within a single lifetime.

The Philippines’ longest cultural history tells a much larger and more fascinating story.
