From the students of Visual Communication (VC) and Industrial Design (ID), 𝗦𝗜𝗡𝗔𝗚 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 is on view until August 25 at the Atrium of Parola.

The exhibition presents VC and ID students’ works from their first and second year classes as part of the Associate in Arts program and Bachelor of Fine Arts program. While the show is a requirement for AA application into the BFA program, guests are also welcome to get to know more about each program through the students’ visual solutions to design tasks. The works exemplify their strengths in techniques, figure drawing, and design through their major courses and electives at the College.

Artworks by first- and second-year students from the University of the Philippines (UP) Diliman College of Fine Arts’ Visual Communication and Industrial Design programs are currently on display at the UP Fine Arts Gallery, also known as Parola.

According to the College, the exhibition titled “SINAG 2025” features works by students enrolled in the Associate in Arts (AA) and Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) programs.

While the exhibit serves as a requirement for AA students applying to the BFA program, it also offers visitors the opportunity to explore the programs through the students’ creative responses to various design tasks.

“The works exemplify their strengths in techniques, figure drawing, and design through their major courses and electives at the College.”

The exhibit will be on view at the Parola Atrium until August 25.

𝙋𝙖𝙜𝙠𝙖𝙩𝙖𝙥𝙤𝙨 𝙣𝙜 𝙗𝙖𝙜𝙮𝙤, 𝙨𝙞𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙜 𝙢𝙪𝙡𝙞 𝙖𝙣𝙜 𝙖𝙧𝙖𝙬! 🌻☀🎨

After weathering storms and preparations behind the scenes, the SINAG ID & VC Sophomore Portfolio Show 2025 exhibit finally shone bright last August 13, 2025, at Parola, UP College of Fine Arts Gallery, Arts and Design West Hall, Atrium.🌟

With the newly elected CFASC volunteering to help the faculty and students, the storm-delayed event was succesfully pushed through. The opening was attended by several administrators, faculty, and staff alongside the supportive visitors of the main stars— the student artist exhibitors. A small program was held with heartfelt words from the dean, department chairs, and class representatives. Ending with food, group photos, and a karaoke session with the Fine Arts Vocal Ensemble's well-timed event. ✨

All artworks are displayed at UP College of Fine Arts Gallery, Arts and Design West Hall, Plenary Hall until August 13, 2024. It is free and open to the public, and guests may still visit from Tuesdays - Saturdays. 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM.
