АЯT + TЯАCК | Volume One | 𝙇𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙣 𝙏𝙤 𝙈𝙮 𝘼𝙧𝙩 is an immersive, multimedia group exhibition that bridges the visual and auditory realms. Sound has long been an unseen brushstroke in the creative process—prompting emotion, driving rhythm, and summoning memory. In this debut volume, 21 contemporary artist bring this invisible influence to the forefront, each presenting a series of three or more works that explore the deep symbiotic relationship between sight and sound. Together, they transform the gallery into a space where visual art and music exist in constant conversation.

Central to the exhibition is an interactive, dual sensory experience that invites viewers to actively participate in each creator’s narrative. Every artwork on display is paired with a specific Spotify QR code, linking the visual piece directly to the track that inspired its creation or serves as its ideal sonic counterpart. By scanning the code while standing before a piece, viewers step directly into the artist’s mind, listening to the exact rhythms, melodies, or ambient tracks that shaped their decisions in form, color, and texture.

As the launch of the ART + TRACK series, Volume One celebrates diversity within a shared format, showcasing traditional painted artworks executed exclusively on uniform canvases. This cohesive dimension anchors the physical space, allowing the vast array of painting techniques, visual styles, and musical genres—ranging from classical movements to indie beats—to take center stage. Ultimately, Listen To My Art challenges boundaries of traditional gallery viewing, inviting audiences to transition from passive observers to active listeners. It poses a fundamental question to all who enter: what does art sound like when you truly look, and what does music look like when you truly listen?

The gathering begins at 3:00 PM with an interactive Art Market, offering guests an early chance to explore and engage directly with the creators. The experience fully unfolds at 6:00 PM with the official Group Show Opening alongside Live Music Performances, bringing the exhibition’s auditory theme to life in real time.

Evolution in the Streetz is a collaborative contemporary art exhibition that explores the intersection of identity, pop culture, and modern lifestyle. In this unique showcase, participating artists delve into a creative exercise of self-reinterpretation, hybridizing their own signature original characters with the iconic world of Pokémon.

Rather than a literal fusion, the essence of each chosen Pokémon is translated entirely through the lens of streetwear culture. Because the exhibit brings together creators from various backgrounds, this concept is explored through a rich diversity of artistic styles. From bold, graphic illustrations and vibrant pop art to gritty street art aesthetics and detailed character designs, each painter uses their distinct visual language to bring their hybrid character to life.

The aesthetic choices, textures, and attitudes of the figures' style serve as a visual dialogue between the artist's personal identity and the distinct traits of the Pokémon. By moving the concept of "evolution" from the gaming screen to the canvas, the exhibit examines how streetwear culture acts as a modern-day armor, a tool for transformation, and a powerful communicator of personality.

Through this collection of paintings, Evolution in the Streetz invites viewers to witness a stylized metamorphosis—where childhood nostalgia meets the grit, variety, and creativity of urban expression.

Gelo Bato is a Manila-based artist and entrepreneur who specializes in acrylic and pen and ink. In 2011, he completed his Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts from the University of the Philippines Baguio. This time in the academe saw Bato come into his own artistic expression, developing a penchant towards pop icons and logo design.

Bato draws from the seemingly mundane and uses dynamic imagery to question tradition--what it means to be a Filipino in this day and age. Using unlikely commodities, he fuses color, texture, and symbolism to tell an often overlooked narrative. Immersion in the entrepreneurial industry combined with a love for art, influences Bato's more recent works. He also uses methods of craftsmanship such as woodwork and upcycling as an entry point into exploring and challenging the depth of an object's utility.

Bato has an interest in street art, the works of Warhol juxtaposition, and the many ways that these media inform and affect each other. From time to time, he vanes his subject matter with photography or a new form of art, but pop culture remains his true obsession.

"My art is currently driven more by process than by a fixed style. I am interested in exploring how different materials interact within a single piece and discovering how these combinations influence the final outcome. While I may begin with an initial
vision, I allow the work to evolve naturally throughout the process. The finished piece may differ from the original plan, and that transformation is part of the practice. What matters most is the learning - understanding the behavior of materials, refining control over the process, and embracing experimentation as an essential part of creation."
