A galeria Castra Leuca Arte Contemporânea inaugura no próximo dia 18 de abril, às 16h, a exposição “Poses para um Futuro Esquecido”, de Luís Macedo, com curadoria de Cíntia Ferreira.

Partindo de fotografias antigas e anónimas, o artista revisita memórias fragmentadas entre o documento e a ficção, cruzando azulejaria, pintura e imagem digital numa reflexão sensível sobre o que lembramos — e o que inevitavelmente se perde.

Castra Leuca Arte Contemporânea gallery will open on 18 April at 4pm the exhibition “Poses for a Forgotten Future” by Luís Macedo, curated by Cíntia Ferreira.

Drawing on old, anonymous photographs, the artist revisits fragmented memories between document and fiction, combining tilework, painting and digital imagery in a sensitive reflection on what we remember — and what inevitably fades.

At Castra Leuca Arte Contemporânea, the work Placebo V by Christian Villamide coexists with the small groves installed by the artist within the exhibition space, creating an environment between the natural and the artificial.
