Pata Negra, Bísaro and Porco Branco are three stools or side tables designed by one of Portugal’s most renowned designers, Fernando Brízio. With his characteristic sense of humour and fascination for detail, Brízio starts from the solidity of a stool whose form recalls a simple and classical vernacular language, rooted in a natural material — wood — and adds a detail that deepens our connection with nature itself: the legs of the stools are shaped like pig’s feet. Handmade, two in natural wood finish and one lacquered in black, they have a distinctive presence and personality — bringing new narratives into the everyday life of a home or office, while remaining fully functional.
