“GRASS PILLOW”, the new exhibition by Jiôn Kiim, invites viewers to immerse themselves in a universe of colour, gesture and organic sensations. Through free brushstrokes and vibrant compositions, the show explores the delicacy of chaos and the poetry of movement.

“Soul Complex”, de Inês d'Orey, leva-nos numa viagem visual até Chandigarh — a cidade modernista construída na Índia nos anos 50.

Através de fotografias, a artista cria uma experiência sensorial onde arquitetura, memória e espaço se cruzam. Um diálogo com o legado de nomes como Le Corbusier e outros protagonistas desta cidade.

Cristina Massena | CASA POTÊNCIA

Casa Potência é um ensaio sobre a ideia de casa a partir do questionamento entre estrutura,
vazio e limite. A obra apresenta-se como uma estrutura aparentemente frágil, sem ritmo evidente,
mas profundamente ligada à pele que a sustenta. É antes um corpo em processo — uma ideia de
casa antes de se tornar forma, deixa de ser apenas arquitetura para tornar-se estado mental,
espaço sensível, território de transformação. O vazio, aqui, não é ausência, é conteúdo. É matéria
em potência. A pele delimita, regula limites, cria interrupções e contornos.

A obra habita precisamente esse espaço intermédio entre a fundação e a fuga. De um
lado, a estrutura — aquilo que sustenta. Do outro, a fuga — a procura da forma. A potência
emerge na tensão entre ambas: no gesto de permanecer no meio, no lugar da observação e da
questão.

Casa Potência is an essay on the idea of home, arising from a questioning of structure, void, and boundary. The work presents itself as an apparently fragile structure, without an evident rhythm, yet deeply connected to the skin that sustains it. It is, rather, a body in process — an idea of home before it becomes form. It ceases to be merely architecture and becomes a mental state, a sensitive space, a territory of transformation. The void here is not absence, but content. It is matter in potential. The skin defines, regulates limits, and creates interruptions and contours.

The work inhabits precisely this intermediate space between foundation and escape. On one side, structure — that which sustains. On the other, escape — the search for form. Potential emerges in the tension between both: in the act of remaining in between, in the place of observation and questioning.

“EcoNarratives of a Trembling Earth”

The exhibition 'EcoNarratives of a Trembling Earth' examines the relationship between nature and geometric abstraction to investigate how colour, fragmentation, and materiality can translate ecological instability. The exhibition draws from the practice-led PhD research “Waste Matters: Public Art and the (Im)Materiality of Post-Colonial Memory” Ferreira conducted at the Royal College of Art, 2020-2025.

Marisa Ferreira (1983-) is a Portuguese artist and researcher based between Oslo and London. Ferreira’s work has been exhibited nationally and internationally, and she has also developed several public art projects across Norway, Ireland, UK, Japan and the US. Her work is part of national and international art collections, including Louis Vuitton, Stavanger KunstMuseum (Norway), Norlinda and José Lima (Portugal), Messmer (Germany), REV Ocean, Deloitte, ConocoPhillips, Wintershall, and Norwegian Tax Authorities.

“EcoNarratives of a Trembling Earth”

A exposição EcoNarratives of a Trembling Earth examina a relação entre a natureza e a abstração geométrica, investigando de que forma a cor, a fragmentação e a materialidade podem traduzir a instabilidade ecológica. A exposição parte da investigação de doutoramento orientada pela prática, Waste Matters: Public Art and the (Im)Materiality of Post-Colonial Memory, realizada por Ferreira no Royal College of Art, entre 2020 e 2025.

Marisa Ferreira (1983–) é uma artista e investigadora portuguesa, com base entre Oslo e Londres. O seu trabalho tem sido exibido a nível nacional e internacional, tendo igualmente desenvolvido diversos projetos de arte pública na Noruega, Irlanda, Reino Unido, Japão e Estados Unidos. A sua obra integra coleções de arte nacionais e internacionais, incluindo Louis Vuitton, Stavanger KunstMuseum (Noruega), Norlinda e José Lima (Portugal), Messmer (Alemanha), REV Ocean, Deloitte, ConocoPhillips, Wintershall e a Autoridade Tributária da Noruega.
