Por entre tormentas, a história vai-se fazendo de momentos em que as dificuldades são quase insuportáveis. A passagem destas é tornada possível pelos indivíduos que se aventuram em expedições por territórios hostis e que, atravessando as tormentas, cartografam o desconhecido. Quando estas tormentas parecem não cessar e a bonança parece não chegar a viagem é urgente. A Expedição surge enquanto uma
outra forma de viagem. Procurando contornar a tormenta em que o tempo presente se tornou, ou talvez superá-la, a Expedição reúne novos exploradores e outros já experientes, munindo esse conjunto de criadores artísticos e pensadores, dos instrumentos de que necessitam para realizarem as suas investidas num novo mundo, ou em alternativas de real ao velho mundo já explorado. Esta é uma Expedição que permite o encontro de viajantes que através dos seus novos discursos e construções, nos aludem a outros caminhos e respostas. Propõe-se rotas diferentes às até hoje traçadas e tecem-se reflexões acerca desses novos passos, dos caminhos do passado que nos trouxeram ao presente, e dos que nos poderão fazer chegar ao futuro: partir, chegar, explorar, regressar. Through tempests and storms, history is made of moments in which the difficulties are close to unbearable. Their overcome is only made possible by individuals who adventure in expeditions through hostile territories and tempests, mapping the unknown. When these tempests ought not to cease and the fair weather ought not to arrive, the journey is urgent. Expedição emerges as one other way of journey. Seeking to get around the tempest the present has become, or maybe even to overcome them, Expedição gathers young explorers with more experienced ones, and handles this group of artistic and thought practitioners the necessary tools that enable them to develop their steps into a new world or alternative realities to the already explored old world. This is an expedition on which one finds expeditioners that through their new discourses and practices, point us to other paths and answers. Alternative routes to the ones drawn till today, will be sketched, and a reflection will be constructed around those new steps, on the paths that brought us from the past to the present, and on those that can take us to the future: departure, arrive, explore, return.
