Exploring some new materials, making swatches and samples in my home studio 🤎

I feel more grounded painting at home, closer to my process and I can come back to my work more often.

I don’t feel as pressured to perform or feel that I need to make the time to paint.

Every place has its impact on the outcome.

Here I can juggle my 4 kids, paint late at night or when the kids are sick.

There’s something about this one that feels like coming home. 🤎

Excited to showcase this large original Affordable Art Fair Stockholm 30 September – 4 October in Stockholm

I love the contrasts in this piece — the way the colours, lines and light shift throughout the day. It almost becomes a different painting depending on the time of day, revealing something new as the light moves across the surface.

Organic lines, warmth and movement — a piece that keeps changing with its surroundings.

Every painting teaches me something 🩵

This one reminded me to let go a little more—to stop trying to control every brushstroke and trust where it wanted to go.

I think that’s why it feels so alive to me.

Flommen hål 17 - 50x50 cm, Framed
A tribute to Skanör Falsterbo where me and my family live is this calm and tranquil piece.

Funny fact is, I started playing golf again after Mio was born (2021) and there are frogs on the 17th hole at Flommen in Falsterbo. Not sure why but frogs terrify me. But just like lemons I’ve turned this hole at Flommen Golf Club into something I want to remember it by instead. Something shifted, maybe it’s my way of getting over something.

Anyone else have a weird fobia they just got over all of a sudden?
