3d printed mascots for Swedens biggest marketing and tech event. Built in touch sensors. Touch the beak, belly and back of the toucans and they will make sounds. The more birds that are touched at the same time, the more complex the sounds becomes. Six hands can make them play music together. With sound design and 3D-printing, any shape in any color can be made interactive.

Metrics of War is a video piece, specially created for a 2 x 8 meter Led screen as a part of the transformation of Army Museum in Stockholm.

The visuals are based on the processing and interpretation of hundreds of thousands of data points related to different aspects of war and conflict — in both modern and historical times, across the world. The material is translated into an audiovisual language in which each event is registered with maximum precision: in sound and image, down to fractions of seconds and pixels.

Metrics of War is not a source of statistics or factual knowledge and does not take sides. Instead, the work seeks to evoke the scale of how war and conflict have shaped our civilization — and continue to shape how we see ourselves.

Kolla in den största samlingen spännande syntar som visats i Sverige på samma ställe. Hör legenden Greg Fitzpatrick berätta om hur han tog synten till Sverige. Kolla in svenska tillverkare som Noiselab och DPW, eller mystiska ljudmaskiner som Benjolin. Hör Teenage Engineering improvisera på nya EP-40 Riddim eller se Peter Fristedt/Agent Side Grinder visa sina hemmayggda trummaskiner. Helt nya syntar premiär-presenteras av svenska Auxy och berlinska Dada Machines. Billig dryck och enkel mat och sveriges trevligaste och syntnördigaste publik.

Synt expo på lördag och söndag dag, presentationer från scenen kl 14 och 16.
Kvällsprogram med live artister på Lykke lördag kväll.
