✨Different years. Different expressions.✨
2023 — 2025 — 2026.

Looking back at these three paintings, I notice how certain elements keep finding their way into my work.

Light. Water. Movement. Texture.

Sometimes the subject is recognisable. Other times, it almost dissolves into abstraction.

I’ve never felt the need to choose between the two. Perhaps that’s what I enjoy most about painting — the freedom to explore without knowing exactly where it will lead.

Three paintings from different years, each with its own story, yet somehow connected.

The 10 year anniversary of Konstrundan på Kungsholmen. What a joyful moment.

Couldn’t be a part of it this year because of travel - but maybe 2027. 😃

✨ Yaacov Agam Museum in Rishon LeZion.

So inspiring to walk through the world of Yaacov Agam — exploring movement, perception, colour and the way an artwork changes depending on where we stand.

The exhibition also brought Agam’s work into dialogue with the art of Menashe Kadishman. Very different artistic languages, and very different from my own — yet that is often what makes encountering other artists so interesting.
New ways of seeing always leave something behind.

And it feels so wonderful to be back in Eretz Israel. 🤍

✨ The Beginning of the End

Tonight begins Shabbat, and tomorrow Rosh Hashanah.

Looking at this painting again, I see its story a little differently.

It began with Creation.
With Eden.

With humanity given the freedom to choose.
Leaving the garden was an ending — the end of innocence and of an unbroken closeness to the Divine.

But it was also the beginning of something else.

Teshuva means return.
To turn back.
To find the way home.

Perhaps every ending carries within it the possibility of a new beginning.

The beginning of the end
is also the beginning of the way home.

Shabbat Shalom & Shana Tova!

✨ LIGHT PHENOMENON — a closer look.

Some paintings need to be seen up close.
Layers of acrylic, subtle shifts in colour and areas of texture appear and disappear depending on how the light falls across the surface.

Swipe to explore some of the details.

Available.

It’s something about green... 🍃

I keep coming back to it.
Deep greens, muted greens, almost-grey greens — constantly mixing and adjusting until the colour feels right.

A little colour exploration in my art journal - thinking about taking it to a larger canvas.
