Addicted Art Gallery

Addicted Art Gallery 🌟 Art you’ll want… and pretend you just “stumbled across.”🌟 Along the way, we built a sensibility for works that reflect memory, place and story.

WHO WE ARE

We’re a gallery built by collectors, for collectors - curating artworks with sincerity, care and a belief that art should feel like home. From originals to limited editions, we bring meaningful pieces to collectors across Singapore and beyond. A collecting journey that became a gallery...

Addicted Art Gallery was born from a shared journey - across continents, memories and artworks. W

hat began as an instinctive love for discovering pieces in remote towns, global cities and unexpected studios gradually became an addiction worthy of its own name. In 2015, we shaped that passion into a gallery grounded in integrity, authenticity and a commitment to creating a collecting experience that is informative and fun. Founded by Blair and Elena - collectors turned curators - Addicted Art Gallery has always been more than a business. Our collecting journey began in a small country town in Australia, grew through years in Singapore, London and New York, and matured again when our paths led back to Singapore. Our online presence enables us to connect with collectors across the globe - offering the care, provenance and genuine enthusiasm you’d expect from real people, not hype. WHAT WE STAND FOR

Art without pretence. Integrity without compromise...

We believe collecting art isn’t about investment buzzwords or inflated promises. It’s about taste, resonance and meaning. At Addicted, we reject highbrow pretence, but we embrace sincerity. Great artworks should be accessible, understandable and genuinely enjoyed. Behind every piece, we stand for:

✨ Authenticity - every artwork includes a certificate of authenticity issued by us or the artist.

✨ Collector assurance - full transparency on medium, edition size, condition (supported by independent reports), shipping and handling. You should know exactly what you’re acquiring.

✨ Global reach, local care - we ship internationally, and offer in-person viewings for Singapore clients at our specialised art storage facility.

✨ Sustainability & responsibility - we partner with DHL Express and utilise their GoGreen Plus service to ensure your artwork travels responsibly. HOW WE WORK

Authenticity, transparency and care. From studio to your wall...

Our goal is simple: make collecting art feel enjoyable, personal and free of pressure. Whether you’re a first-time or seasoned collector, we want you to feel informed, supported and excited. If you’d like to consult, consign artwork, view a piece in person or simply ask a question - we’re here, always happy to help. Welcome to Addicted Art Gallery. We hope you enjoy what you discover - and maybe become “addicted” too. To leave you with a final thought...

Some images become part of popular culture. People remember the photograph, even if they don’t always know the photographer behind it.

David Goldman’s image for Blink-182’s "E***a of the State" became one of the most recognisable album covers of the early 2000s.

Addicted is excited to welcome the award-winning photographer and filmmaker for the upcoming launch of his series “Mirror Mirror”.

Photographed inside Jamie Nelson’s “Pink Mansion” in Los Angeles, the series explores the dynamic of one photographer stepping into the world of another. Jamie’s world of vintage glamour, sexuality, and self-expression is not simply aesthetic backdrop, but an extension of the persona she lives and breathes. Within that space, the work moves through increasingly visible conversations around authorship, image ownership, and the evolving relationship between photographer and subject in contemporary visual culture.

The images feel collaborative, but they’re not passive. They are shaped, considered, and ultimately authored through David Goldman’s photographic perspective.

In a sweeping critique of artificial intelligence, Pope Leo XIV warns against the concentration of technological power, the manipulation of truth through AI-generated content, and the reduction of human experience into data and performance.

As artificial intelligence rapidly reshapes creative industries, Pope Leo XIV argues that authentic art cannot be separated from lived experience, moral imagination, and emotional truth.

A timely reflection on authorship, culture, and what may be lost as automation moves deeper into creative practice.

“Authentic culture and art preserve this spark.” ~ Pope Leo XIV

In his first major teaching, Pope Leo XIV cites Picasso's Guernica as a human creation of 'almost prophetic significance'

“The city is a living space. It’s a canvas.” ~ JR

More than forty years after Christo and Jeanne-Claude wrapped Paris’s Pont Neuf, French artist JR has transformed the bridge once again through illusion, photography, and large-scale public intervention.

A fascinating look at how contemporary artists continue to reimagine monuments, memory, and public space through large-scale public artworks.

French street artist conclude a monumental six-year series by transforming the Pont Neuf bridge in Paris into an immersive installation.

"RUBIK SHOT RED MARILYN" by Invader

Series: Rubikcubism (Rubik Master Pieces)

The Art Scoop: Part of Invader’s “Rubik Master Pieces” series, the work recreates Andy Warhol’s iconic Marilyn Monroe portraits using Rubik’s Cubes. Limited to the cube’s six-colour palette, Marilyn emerges as a pixelated mosaic that shifts between abstraction and recognisable pop iconography.

“Gone BFFs” by Whatshisname

The Art Scoop: Beneath the playful surface, Whatshisname taps into the emotional residue of childhood nostalgia and pop culture memory. Familiar cartoon characters become symbols of friendship, innocence, and shared cultural experience, reimagined through the artist’s signature blend of humour, irony, and contemporary pop aesthetics.

From British punk and early Hip-Hop to fashion, activism, and street culture, Janette Beckman has spent decades documenting the people and movements shaping contemporary visual culture.

“Rebels + Icons,” now on view at Seattle’s Museum of Pop Culture, brings together the largest exhibition of Beckman’s work to date, capturing the raw energy, individuality, and cultural shifts that defined multiple generations.

“I took those punk pictures over 40 years ago, and suddenly they mean something. And the same with hip-hop. All these musicians I photographed were not famous when I photographed them.” ~ Janette Beckman

The MoPOP retrospective, “Rebels + Icons: The Photography of Janette Beckman,” brings together the photog's most defining portraits.

Before becoming an Oscar-winning director, Ron Howard stepped into the world of legendary photographer Richard Avedon.

An interesting look at photography, image-making, and the early creative influences surrounding one of Hollywood’s most recognisable filmmakers.

We asked Howard to pick his four favorite Avedon photos. “That’s a challenge,” he said, of narrowing it down from many thousands of images. A challenge the director was game for.

"Heinz Bean Spray (Blue)" by Mr. Brainwash

The Art Scoop: Turning a supermarket staple into a spray can, Mr. Brainwash blurs the line between consumer culture, street art, and advertising satire. Echoing the legacy of Pop Art while nodding to graffiti culture, the work transforms an everyday object into a playful symbol of mass production, branding, and artistic rebellion.

"Maria de Desatanudos" by Ale Osollo

The Art Scoop: "Mary, Untier of Knots" is a tribute to the traditional Mexican figure of the Virgin Mary, who, through faith, helps believers navigate life’s deepest difficulties. The knots in her hands symbolise the problems we as humans cannot solve, problems the Virgin Mary, through her eternal love, is willing to untie to bring colour back into our lives.
