Hope and promises, in the morning’s light.
Summer’s Warmth, a vibrant scene
Growth and Abundance, the world’s grand dream
Autumn’s Hue, Change and Letting go
Golden Memories, like embers glow
Winter’s chill, a time to slow
Contemplation’s quiet, like the snow
For the cycle of seasons, we find
A truth eternal, A wisdom of the mind
That every ending marks a new beginning
For Winter will always turn to Spring

“Longing”

Longing, a poignant diptych that embodies the emotional turmoil of two lovers’ unattainable connection. Layers of waves represent their past traumas, keeping them apart, even though they yearn for each other. The simple gulf between the waves symbolises the obstacles are indeed self-inflicted, hence preventing their union. This painting is to represent unrequited longing and sorrow.

Introducing the new collection “LOVE(d)” with this first release, “Longing”. This collection with be delving into the depth of love, showcasing the beauty of love through heartaches. As the quote in The Little Prince goes, “ To become spring, means accepting the risk of winter. To become presence, means accepting the risk of absence.”
