In ‘Come Come, We Can Fit In’, Alejandro Contreras Moiraghi transforms a limousine, often associated with exclusivity and status, into something almost communal. Packed with overlapping figures and carried forward by countless moving legs beneath it, the vehicle no longer feels luxurious in the traditional sense, but animated by collective presence and shared movement. The exaggerated length of the limousine pushes the image toward absurdity, yet there is humour in the way space continues to be made for more people to enter.
Against the intense red background, the repeated figures begin to blur into one another, portraying both individuality and belonging at the same time. The title itself carries an open invitation, hinting at ideas of inclusion, participation, and the human desire to find space within a larger group. Rather than celebrating exclusivity, the work seems to question it. Proposing that value may instead lie in togetherness and the willingness to make room for others.
