The Private Museum celebrated International Women’s Day with a full house and an inspiring line-up of women leaders for our special fireside chat, ‘Purpose in Practice: Women Reimagining Impact’.

Our warmest gratitude goes to panellists Rachel Teo (.singapore), Dr Sue-Anne Toh (), Stephanie Choo (), and Shu-Hui Wee () for generously sharing their stories and reflections on weaving care, purpose, and values into their work. We are also deeply grateful to Andrea Fam () for guiding the conversation with such thoughtfulness and care.

Thank you to everyone who joined us on 7 March 2026 for an afternoon of meaningful dialogue and connection. We hope the conversation offered new perspectives and inspiration, highlighting how each of these remarkable women is creating impact beyond traditional measures of success.

“I think it’s (being human) suffering, it’s failure, it’s growth, it’s being wrong, it’s trying again. You know, it’s just this—just doing, trying, exploring, fail, get up, do again. And you don’t have to be always right. It’s good to be right, but you don’t have to always be right.” — Dr John Chia, Collector

Thank you for joining us on Monday, 19 January 2026 for the opening reception of ‘Human Being Human: Selections from the Collection of John and Cheryl Chia’. It was a momentous start to SG Art Week 2026, filled with moments of connection, reflection, and shared contemplation on the human condition surrounded by friends and familiar faces.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our Guest of Honour Ms Yeoh Chee Yan; Chairman of National Heritage Board for opening this exhibition.
