Wishing all Hindu friends a Happy Deepavali. It is the Festival of Lights in Singapore, celebrated on 31st October, 2024. Deepavali symbolizes spiritually Victory of Light over Darkness, Good over Evil , and Knowledge over Ignorance. Let the Lights Shine forever in our midst. Where there is Light, there is Hope. Let the Little Light in our hearts shine, for greater tolerance and goodwill in this troubled World. Pray for this Light to shine brightly, whatever our religion or persuasion, and whether we are kings or knaves. The picture below is "Hindu Bell," taken by Yip Cheong Fun, FRPS, EFIAP, in 1950 in Singapore which has won Third Prize in the Religious Art Festival in Rochester, New York, USA in 1963, and Gold Medal, Frieding, VDAV, Germany in 1970.
