Yeo Hoe Koon depicted an abstract scene of Bali with free and loose brushstrokes. The landscapes are painted in ink, with splashes of vibrant colours that adds life to the painting.

Yeo’s education background in Paris had helped him to integrate techniques of both western and eastern styles into his paintings, giving his work a unique touch.

Siew Hock Meng - Ongoing exhibition

The 2024 Prize winner for the Cultural Medallion Award is currently having an exhibition at NAFA galleries 1 & 2. This exhibition shows many of Siew’s selected works, each are stunning to look at with many details that can only be seen through proper observation. His paintings are not just blocks of shapes and colours put on on a canvas, it tells its own story with relevance to history.

Veteran Singaporean artist and Cultural Medallion recipient Siew Hock Meng returns to his alma mater, the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA), with his latest exhibition, REALISM: The Language of Spirit, Mind and Body. The opening was warmly received by guests and art lovers, who gathered to celebrate a impressive body of work that reflects his artistic mastery and decades of continuous practice.
