Our Kueh Chang Babi (Nyonya chang) are double steam unlike the usual method of boiling where the seasoning leaked into the boiling water. Steamed chang are made first by steaming the rice, then wrapped, and steam again. It is tedious and labour intensive process but the flavour remains intact, resulting in a tasty chang. The blue hue comes naturally from Blue Pea flower. Our chang are sold frozen in vacuumed pack of 10 for $70. Customers steam it as and when they want to consume.
Customers are known to purchase our chang in bulk for their loved ones who are residing overseas so that they have a regular supply of chang throughout the year 🙂

Our Nyonya Chang is ready for sale @ $70 per lot of 10 frozen. Collection date: Sunday 7th June.

We use the most traditional double steam method to cook our chang so the taste/seasoning does not leach into the water (boiling method) thus maintaining/containing its taste; and the blue comes from Blue pea flower or Bunga Telang. Not artificial blue. Even the string and leaves are old fashion, natural. Hard to get the string these days as everyone using nylon which is cheaper, easily sourced.
This is as old fashion as it can get. Any older fashion, you have to get your grandmother to do.

We pride ourselves as cooking old fashion nyonya food.
