เมื่อเฝ้ามอง Kyoko Abe ทำงานมาเป็นเวลานาน สิ่งหนึ่งที่เห็นได้ชัดคือ เธอค้นพบความสุขจากเรื่องธรรมดารอบตัวอยู่เสมอ
การเดินเล่น ซื้อของ ทำอาหาร สัตว์ ต้นไม้ หรือสิ่งเล็ก ๆ ที่พบระหว่างวัน ล้วนกลายเป็นแรงบันดาลใจให้เธอหยิบขึ้นมาวาด จากหนึ่งวันเป็นหนึ่งภาพ จากวันเป็นเดือน และจากเดือนเป็นปี ผลงานเหล่านี้จึงค่อย ๆ กลายเป็น บันทึกของความสุขเล็ก ๆ ในชีวิตประจำวัน
Kyoko ไม่ได้พยายามทำให้ทุกวันเป็นวันพิเศษ เธอเพียงมองเห็นสิ่งพิเศษที่ซ่อนอยู่ในวันธรรมดา และถ่ายทอดความรู้สึกนั้นผ่านงานศิลปะ
เพราะบางที ความสุขอาจอยู่ใกล้ตัวเรามากกว่าที่คิด
EVERYDAY IS FUN
Having observed Kyoko Abe and her work over time, one thing becomes clear: she has a remarkable ability to find joy in the ordinary.
A walk, shopping, cooking, animals, plants, or a small discovery during the day can become inspiration for a new painting. One day becomes one image; days become months, and months become years. Together, these works form a visual diary of small, everyday joys.
Kyoko does not try to make every day extraordinary. Instead, she notices the extraordinary within the ordinary and transforms those moments into art.
Through her paintings, the happiness she discovers becomes something she can share with others.
Perhaps joy has always been closer than we think.
