BANGKOK CITYCITY GALLERY presents “Neighbor", the second exhibition in its ongoing two-artists exhibition series, bringing together the practices of Puangsoi Aksornsawang and Tae Parvit in a shared exploration of observation, memory and cinematic perception. Moving between image, text, object, and atmosphere, the exhibition considers how personal and collective histories emerge through fragments, gestures, and acts of looking.

On view from May 23 to June 27, 2026.
Opening hours: Thursday to Saturday, 13:00–18:00.
The artists will be present at the gallery on the opening day.

The first round of EXPERIMENTAL LIBRARY MUSIC ends this Sunday, 10 May 2026.

We invite musicians, composers, filmmakers, artists, writers, and researchers to contribute sound-based works to MUSIC PROJECT 2026 at BANGKOK CITYCITY GALLERY.

Small research desks will be present for visitors to explore and listen through headphones.

BANGKOK CITYCITY GALLERY invites friends, colleagues, and our wider community to support the พิพิธภัณฑ์แรงงานไทย : Thai Labour Museum’s major renovation campaign.

Due to the dilapidated state of its building the Museum is needing to complete its major repairs programme this year. The Museum plans to revamp its exhibition content as this has work has not been done since its founding over three decades ago.

JPBS first began collaborating with Taipei-based fashion design label Prototyp last year during the launch of their Code Red® EP, wearing selections from the brand’s archive collection.

For the first Code Red® Live in Bangkok, the collaboration continues with a special capsule collection launched last Friday.

The PROTOTYP BANGKOK Pop-Up Shop at BANGKOK CITYCITY GALLERY will stay open until Sunday, 3 May 2026. Opening hours: 13:00–18:00.

This Saturday, we are slowing down for a small wind-down gathering.

Thank you to all visitors of 'Windee is Digging', a two-artist exhibition by Dusadee Huntrakul and Nawin Nuthong, which closed on Saturday April 18, 2026.

BANGKOK CITYCITY GALLERY will be temporarily closed and will reopen with the PROTOTYP BANGKOK POP-UP, featuring a special capsule collection PROTOTYP x JPBS, from April 25–May 3, 2026, in collaboration with PROTOTYP, a fashion design brand from Taipei, Taiwan.

More details will be announced soon.

On Friday, April 24, 2026, we move to KANGKAO in Silom for JPBS Code Red® Live, featuring special guests Untrymaew, bed, Jakrin & Payu, in collaboration with DuckUnit. The show starts at 21:00.

"อย่างที่เราบอกว่าชอบมองดูของ แล้วเราก็ชอบนั่งเหม่อ มองดูไปข้างหน้า แต่ในหัวมันก็ zoning out มีพื้นที่ว่างขึ้นมา อย่างงานเพ้นท์ตอนที่เราเริ่มภาพ เอาสีมาละเลง ก็ไม่รู้หรอกว่าจะเป็นแบบไหน แต่เราเริ่มเห็นแล้วว่ามันมีโครงหน้า ตรงนี้เป็นตา อันนี้เป็นจมูก ปากอยู่ตรงนี้ ซึ่งเราก็อยู่ในขั้นที่กำลังเรียนรู้กับการเพ้นท์อยู่ ดูความร้อนความเย็นของสี สีไหนอยู่กับสีไหน แล้วแน่นอนมันก็มีคิดเรื่อง aesthetic เรื่องประวัติศาสตร์ศิลปะด้วย แต่ทั้งมวลเราก็กลับมาดูว่าตัวเองมองเห็นอะไรอยู่ตรงไหน เรามองว่างานเพ้นท์มันเป็นเรื่องของเวลา ความลึกของชั้นสี แล้วก็ยังเป็นเรื่องของการจัดการกับ materials ว่ามันสามารถที่จะเป็นตัวเองได้ ในขณะเดียวกันก็ represent สิ่งอื่นอย่างอื่นด้วย คิดว่าสิ่งที่สำคัญคือมันจะมีความลึก มีชีวิต มีความรู้สึก ซึ่งเราก็พยายามหาตรงนั้นว่ามันคืออะไรกันแน่"

"I like looking at things, zoning out. When I paint, I don’t know what it will become at first but then I start to see forms emerge: a face, eyes, a nose. I’m still learning about color temperature, composition, art history. But ultimately, I return to what I see. Painting is about time, layers, material. It must have depth, life, feeling. I’m still searching for what that really is."
