HAAN Studio is a boutique creative studio specializing in Art Products and Spaces. Our core philosophy revolves around two pillars : Value and the Environment.
Many of our products are crafted from discarded or overlooked materials. We breathe new life into these "waste" items by integrating artistic inspiration with functional design.

Our Collection includes —
Handcrafted Wooden Spoons : Carved from reclaimed wood scraps left over from construction sites.
Hardcover Notebooks : Bound with "imperfect" leather that failed industrial standards but remains high in quality.
Textile Arts: Created using deadstock fabrics or donated materials that would otherwise go unused.

Every piece we create starts with the same vision: recognizing hidden value. HAAN Studio is dedicated to continuously pushing
these narratives forward, transforming reclaimed materials into what we proudly call "Art Products."

Rock Around : The Aesthetics of Paradox and the Rhythm of Matter

" Rock Around " is a visual dialogue in which I explore the paradox between 'Static Matter' and 'Fluid Energy.' Through rugged Texture and deliberate Fractures, I reveal the truth that within the greatest strength lies a beautiful, inherent fragility. I juxtapose a volatile Color Field against serene earth tones to generate a Visual Vibration—a "Geological Orchestra" playing a deep, resonant symphony beneath the surface. For me, every crack is a Beat, and every stony surface is a Melody swirling within the cosmic laws : Rigid yet fragile, dormant yet vibrating. It is a sublime harmony where I merge visual form with the unheard song of existence.

"Lokiyawat — Everyday life. The lives of ordinary people. The daily rhythms of living, thinking, acting, and feeling. From day to day, people move through the same routines—eating, sleeping, working, taking care of themselves — along with everything else they need to get by and maybe find some kind of meaning.

These routines may look different from person to person, shaped by culture, society, and several other factors, but they share the same goals : to survive, to grow, and to find moments of happiness each day. These lives have many forms, from simple to complex—urban and rural, rich and poor, children and adults—each with their own character. Daily routines are also filled with objects : chemicals and compounds, packaging, perfumes, medicines, clothing, and ordinary household objects — seasoning bottles, skincare serum sachets, toothpaste tubes, hair ties, etc., all of them quietly transforming into waste through acts of everyday consumption.

Everyday life—Lokiyawat—creates mountains of refuse in the aim of fulfilling human desires. If we don’t stop to think before we use, our world, drowning in waste, will have no one left to depend on....not even FRED". — Juno's Jungle

"Tha Kawn Sa" is a local Isan expression meaning "wait a while."
A simple phrase that carries hope, intention, and a way of life, it also functions as a gentle compromise addressed to those who remain behind, asking them to keep faith and continue believing in the act of waiting for a return.

The exhibition Tha Kawn Sa invites viewers to decode the relationship between people and the fields in the context of the Isan region, through everyday practices shaped by multiple layers of social change and by the ongoing negotiation with uncertainty.

Farmland, once the last stronghold of rural life-sustained by accumulated wisdom and lived experience-is now being challenged by new models of land management. These transformations alter both the physical landscape and the relationship between humans and the land, from the surface of the soil down to its subterranean layers, in ways that are largely irreversible.

The works presented here open a space for contemporary dialogue through the distinct yet interconnected perspectives of two artists.

Santi Seedarach, an Isan artist living in displacement, has migrated to the central region in search of a place to sustain his life and creative practice, while holding onto the hope of one day returning home. His work arises from an interest in materials from the fields that once offered both shelter and shade-such as chik, yang na, and pradu trees. Valued for their strength and durability, these woods are extracted and transformed into construction materials for urban development, while their places of origin are left with only stumps and fading memories.

Santi reclaims these remnants and rearticulates their meanings through an artistic language grounded in traditional carpentry skills-cutting, sanding, carving, and assembling them using techniques such as pegged joints, mortise-and-tenon, and dovetail connections. These methods bind together traces of objects, time, and human presence, capturing the continual movement and transformation of lives and landscapes.

Meanwhile, Surasit Mankong presents his own search for a place to exist within his native Isan homeland following the COVID-19 pandemic. Amid the pressures of contemporary change, land has been transformed from a means of subsistence into a tightly controlled resource-excavated, relocated, and governed by modern systems of management. These processes raise critical questions about the sustainability of the land and about what it means for the soil to remain a "stronghold" in the struggle to survive.

Tha Kawn Sa is therefore not merely an exhibition of artworks. It is a space for questioning, listening, and inviting audiences to reflect on the evolving meanings of the "fields" and of "existence" as they are being redefined in today's society.
