ขอขอบคุณทุกท่านที่เข้าร่วมงาน Samui Eco Art: ศิลปะ สิ่งแวดล้อม และความยั่งยืน ระหว่างวันที่ 5–8 มิถุนายนที่ผ่านมา

สำหรับใครที่พลาดงานในช่วงแรก หรืออยากกลับมาร่วมสัมผัสบรรยากาศแห่งศิลปะและความยั่งยืนอีกครั้ง เรายังมีกิจกรรม นิทรรศการ เวิร์กช็อป และการพูดคุยที่น่าสนใจรออยู่

Beyond the Air We Breathe: Addressing Climate Change เป็นนิทรรศการที่แสดงให้เห็นสถานการณ์มลพิษทางอากาศที่เห็นได้ชัดรอบโลก อากาศที่เราและลูกหลานของเราหายใจและมลพิษทางอากาศในหลากหลายรูปแบบที่ถ่ายทอดผ่านภาพเหล่านี้ในระดับที่ต่างกันไป กำลังเป็นเรื่องที่น่ากังวลมากขึ้นเรื่อย ๆ

ภาพที่สวยงามจนน่าตะลึงตะลานเหล่านี้อาจจะขัดกับสาระความเป็นจริงอันน่าสะพรึงกลัวที่ลึกลงไปในภาพ แต่ขอให้เรามองทะลุความมีศิลปะอันน่าพิศวงเหล่านี้ และพยายามทำความเข้าใจกับสาระที่ลึกเร้นในภาพ

Beyond the Air We Breathe: Addressing Climate Change exhibits the visible, damaging air pollution around the globe. The concern is growing for the air we, and our children, breathe and the different forms of air pollution captured to varying extents in these photographs.

Their images may be startlingly beautiful, which can complicate the horrific message they convey, but look beyond the amazing artistry and try to understand the subliminal ideas within these framed works.

Opening party: Friday, 5th June | 1:00 pm

ขอเชิญชวนชาวสมุย เข้าร่วมกิจกรรมเก็บขยะชายหาดและขยะจากทะเล เพื่อนำวัสดุเหล่านี้ไปสร้างสรรค์เป็น “ผลงานศิลปะจากขยะทะเล” ในโครงการ 30 Islands Clean Up ♻️🎨

เพราะขยะทุกชิ้นที่เราเก็บ อาจเปลี่ยนเป็นแรงบันดาลใจให้ผู้คนหันกลับมารักทะเลมากขึ้น

Joining us to protect the beauty of Koh Samui’s sea together 💙

Samui Art Center and House of Lucie, in collaboration with Ajarn Subin Muangjan, President of Southern Thailand International Artist Association, invite the people of Koh Samui to join a beach and ocean clean-up activity. The collected waste will be transformed into “artworks created from marine debris” as part of the 30 Islands Clean Up project ♻️🎨

Because every piece of trash we collect can inspire more people to reconnect with and care for.

[English Below] ตามหาศิลปินและผู้สร้างสรรค์ผลงานจากวัสดุเหลือใช้ หรือวัสดุรีไซเคิล ร่วมออกบูทแสดงผลงาน หรือจัดเวิร์กช็อป เนื่องในกิจกรรม “วันสิ่งแวดล้อมโลก” และ “Ocean Day” ร่วมกับหอศิลป์สมุย ในวันที่ 5–8 และ 11–14 มิถุนายน ในเบื้องต้น

We’re looking for artists and creators who create artwork with recycled or upcycled materials to join us in showcasing their works or hosting workshops for “World Environment Day” and “Ocean Day" in collaboration with Samui Art Center on 5–8 and 11–14 June (initially).

🎨หัวข้อการประกวด
1. “สิ่งที่เราอาจสูญเสีย” ภัยคุกคามด้านสิ่งแวดล้อมที่เกาะกำลังเผชิญอยู่ในปัจจุบัน อะไรคือสิ่งที่ต้องปกป้องก่อนจะสูญเสียมันไปตลอดกาล?
2. “ผู้คนกับธรรมชาติ” การเชื่อมโยงและพึ่งพาระหว่างชุมชนท้องถิ่นของสมุยกับสิ่งแวดล้อม
3. “เมล็ดพันธุ์แห่งความหวัง” การฟื้นฟูและการลงมือเพื่อสร้างสิ่งแวดล้อมอันยั่งยื่น

“See the Island. Save the Island.”

This photo competition celebrates Samui’s natural beauty while raising awareness of its environmental challenges on the occasion of the World Environmental Day 5th of June.

🎨 CONCEPT & THEMES
1. “What We Stand to Lose” The environmental threats which the island faces today. What must we protect before it is lost forever?
2. “People & Nature” The connection and dependency between Samui local communities and the environment.
3. “Seeds of Hope” A restoration and positive action for sustainable environment

Applicants divided in 3 categories : "Youth (under 18 years old)", "Non-Professional (18 years and above)", "Professional (18 years and above)"

📅 Schedule & Program
- Deadline for submission: 25 May 2026
- Winner announcement: 31 May 2026 (to be judged by Hossein Farmani, Lucie Foundation Founder) via: Instagram and Facebook
9 winners will be selected (1 winner for each theme and category), each winner will receive a certificate and cash prize of 8,000 THB
- Winners’ works to be exhibited at House of Lucie Samui
Exhibition opening date: 5 June 2026 (Exhibition to be curated by Nim Niyomsin, the Curator)

- Applicant can choose more than 1 theme
