I paint the depths of the sea on canvas & bring life to bright ceramic art. 🎨 Sharing my bi-material journey & tips. Based in Tunis, I am a fusion artist passionate about bringing the raw, vibrant beauty of the sea into everyday spaces. My work is an exploration of texture and color, blending classic oil painting techniques with natural, tactile elements like clay and seashells. I love transformin

g traditional canvases and ceramics into pieces that feel alive. Follow along as I share my creative process, studio behind-the-scenes, and my latest bi-material collections.

A walk outside is never just a walk; it’s gathering pieces for the next puzzle. 🌿🧩
I was completely captivated by the raw, vibrant diversity of nature lately—the deep magentas of fresh berries, the electric yellow of sunlit citrus, and the quiet pops of purple wildflowers.
I wanted to capture that beautifully chaotic energy on canvas. Instead of a literal landscape, this piece is an internal map of those colors colliding.
It’s my way of translating the wild, authentic palette of the outdoors into structured, yet emotional geometric forms. 🎨✨

Sometimes, trying to explain how we feel is harder than just showing it. 🎨✨
I put these three pieces together because, for me, they tell a very human story—one we all go through. It’s a visual map of how our emotions evolve, reading from left to right:

**1. Holding it together (Left)** This is the "I'm fine" phase. We try so hard to put our feelings into neat, organized boxes. We keep things contained, structured, and separate, even when the emotions underneath are incredibly intense.

**2. The Friction (Middle)** This is when life happens. The neat boxes start to overflow, and the structure breaks down. It’s chaotic, textured, and restless. It’s that beautiful, complicated mess when our feelings clash and refuse to stay perfectly aligned anymore.

**3. Letting go (Right)** This isn't about finding a perfect, tidy resolution; it’s about finally letting ourselves just *be*. The rigid lines are completely gone, replaced by raw, physical textures and fluid movement. It’s about breaking free from the exhausting need for perfection, embracing our messy reality, and finally listening to our true calling.

To me, art shouldn't just look pretty—it should talk to the soul and make us wonder. It should remind us that it’s okay to be a little messy sometimes. 🌊

Where are you on this emotional map today? Are you holding it together, feeling the friction, or just letting it flow?

Textured. Tactile. Timeless.

The Magma vase has officially arrived. To complement the fluid lines of Caldera, we focused on creating a surface that feels alive—as if it were still cooling from the forge of the earth.

Every angle reveals a different detail, a different shadow, and a different story.

Discover the Magma vase today. 📍 Available at https://terresalee.art/]

Adding a splash of vibrant energy to the everyday! ✨🎨
These hand-painted acrylic assiettes bring bold, geometric life to any space. Designed to blur the line between functional objects and authentic expression, each piece is a unique celebration of color and form.
At Terre Salée, we believe in the power of raw, un-duplicated creation.
« L'art ne se duplique pas. Chaque œuvre est une rencontre. »

Disconnect to reconnect! 🌈🖌️

Had the best time hosting a friend and her daughter for a ceramic painting session today at The Marwa Barki Atelier. Seeing them step away from their everyday routines, play with vibrant colors, and discover hidden talents was the highlight of my weekend. They completely recharged their batteries for the week ahead, and left with some absolutely stunning pieces!

Ready to engineer a little creative escape for yourself or your loved ones?

🎨 DM to book your session and let’s create something beautiful together.
