Everyday Anchorage: Finding Belonging in Stillness
安放之所：在日常的秩序裡，定錨歸屬
As the pace of the outside world accelerates and our environment remains ever-shifting, what do we rely on to anchor our own existence? More often than not, it is those ordinary objects scattered within the order of the everyday. A glass of warm water on the table as we push open the door, a bouquet of flowers quietly blooming in the corner, or a beam of afternoon sunlight slanting into the room—these most mundane of life’s landscapes exist invisibly in a state of constancy. They become the anchors of our emotions, offering a true place to stay for our souls.
Taking everyday "still life" as its guide, this exhibition explores how individuals build a sense of belonging within ordinary life. For the artist, still life is a gentle resistance against time, a labor that allows emotions to harbor and settle amid noisy years. When a corner of daily life is frozen onto the canvas, it ceases to be a mere arrangement of objects; instead, it becomes a spiritual refuge folded from memory, warmth, and emotion.
外部世界的腳步越來越快、環境變動不居，我們靠什麼來確認自己的存在？往往是那些散落在日常秩序裡的尋常物件。推開門時桌案上的一杯溫水、牆角一束靜靜盛開的花、或是午後斜射進屋內的一道日光。這些再平凡不過的生活風景。在無形中用一種恆常的姿態存在著，成為我們情感的定錨，也是靈魂最踏實的「安放之所」。
本次展覽以日常的「靜物」為引，探討個體如何在尋常生活中建立歸屬。對藝術家而言，靜物是一場與時間的溫柔抵抗，也是在喧囂的歲月裡，讓情感得以停泊、沉澱的勞動。當日常的角落被定格在畫布上，它便不再只是物件的置放，而是一個個由記憶、溫度與情感折疊而成的精神庇護所。
