這個狀態是充滿在周遭的。台灣氣候的空氣、走動之間人的呼吸、森林與陽台的植物所吸收的養分、畫作上暈染⋯。
日常的植物是我喜歡觀看的景色，畫中的肉體也是一直陪伴自己的，一切都很簡單也很重要，像是水氣充滿在生活之中。
This state exists all around us —
in the humid air of Taiwan’s climate,in the breath exchanged as people pass one another,in the nourishment absorbed by plants in forests and on balconies,and in the spreading washes of ink across paper. The everyday presence of plants is a landscape Iam drawn to observe.The body within my paintings are also companions that remain constantly beside me. Everything is simple, yet deeply essential —
like humidity itself, quietly suspended throughout daily life.
