Exquisite Wasting of Time 高級的日常浪費

大雋藝術將於2026年5月16日正式揭幕全新展覽《Exquisite Wasting of Time》。本次跨界攜手台中家具選品店HAUSEKI，將藝廊空間轉化為一座融合經典設計與當代藝術的「居家畫廊」。透過HAUSEKI獨特的美學視角與大雋藝術的深厚積澱，邀請觀者步入一場關於「家」的感官旅行。

Rich Art Gallery is proud to announce the grand opening of its latest exhibition, Exquisite Wasting of Time, on May 16, 2026. This cross-disciplinary collaboration with the Taichung-based curated furniture boutique HAUSEKI transforms the gallery into a "Living Room Gallery", merging timeless design with contemporary art. Through HAUSEKI’s unique aesthetic lens and Rich Art Gallery’s profound curatorial expertise, viewers are invited on a sensory journey into the heart of the "home".

墨白個展《褶衷》展期正式進入最後一週。

墨白在場域中構築出微縮的建築空間，隨著觀者視點移動與光影交疊，靜止的構造在變幻中產生呼吸感。這處承載記憶與情緒的精神棲所，展覽進入最後倒數，即將於5月10日圓滿閉幕。

誠摯邀請您在展期末尾，親臨大雋藝術，在這些褶皺與陰影的縫隙中，尋得一處容納心靈停留的棲息之地。

The solo exhibition "Folded Midst" by Mobai is now entering its final week.

Within the gallery space, Mobai has constructed a series of miniature architectural realms. As the viewer’s perspective shifts and light interlaced with shadow, these once-static structures begin to breathe. This spiritual sanctuary, which cradles collective memory and emotion, is now in its final countdown and will officially draw to a close on May 10th.

在層疊與裂隙之間，閱讀時間的澱積——顏料裂紋與宣紙纖維相互咬合，構築出建築上被時間走過的痕跡。這些微觀細節使作品在靜默中應答光線，開啟一場關於物質與記憶的感官對話。

Between layers and fissures, one reads the accumulation of time——The interplay of dried pigments and xuan paper fibers constructs traces reminiscent of time-worn architecture. These microscopic details allow the work to respond to light in silence, initiating a sensory dialogue between materiality and memory.

墨白於創作中刻意將自我隱退，不再作為主導畫面的敘述者，而是轉向對時間痕跡的靜默守候。材料的紋理在光線與氣候之中緩慢生成，使作品成為一種持續回應環境的存在。

在光影與空氣的流動之中，作品不再僅被觀看，而逐漸轉化為一處可被感知與棲居的空間。

In Mobai’s practice, she deliberately withdraws the presence of the self, no longer acting as the narrator who governs the image, but instead becoming a quiet observer of the traces of time. The textures of the materials unfold gradually in response to light and climate, allowing the work to exist as a continual dialogue with its environment.

Within the flow of light and air, the work is no longer merely something to be viewed, but gradually transforms into a space that can be sensed and inhabited.

墨白（1985年，福州）現居於北京與日本伊豆。長年的跨地域遊走，使其創作承載了多重空間與文化的交疊敘事。

墨白擅於調度國畫顏料、宣紙、木材與石膏等複合媒介，作品近年由二維平面演化為具備建築體量感的「繪畫物件」。透過拉伸結構深度，她使作品隨觀者的視角移動與光影變化產生細微轉向，宛如靜置於場域中的微型構造。

其作品不僅是物質的堆疊，更是對時間遺痕與建築殘影的溫柔捕獲。墨白透過極簡的層次與留白的呼吸，將幽微的情緒密度封存於構築之中。自2009年起，作品頻繁展出於亞洲各地，以其對物質性與感知的深刻洞察，廣受學術界與收藏界關注。

Currently based between Beijing and Izu, Japan, Mobai’s (b.1985, Fuzhou) extensive cross-regional journey allows her work to carry a layered narrative of intersecting spaces and cultures.

Masterfully deploying a multi-media approach—incorporating traditional ink pigments, Xuan paper, wood, and plaster—Mo Bai’s recent practice has evolved from two-dimensional planes into "Painting-objects" with distinct architectural volume. By extending the structural depth of the frame, her works shift subtly with the viewer’s movement and the fleeting changes of light, functioning as meditative, miniature structures within a given space.

Her creations transcend mere material stacking; they are a tender capture of the vestiges of time and architectural silhouettes. Through a minimalist layering and a sense of "breathing" in the void, Mo Bai encapsulates subtle emotional densities within her constructions. Since 2009, her work has been frequently exhibited across Asia, earning significant acclaim from both academic circles and collectors for her profound insight into materiality and perception.

在本次展覽中，「畫框」不再只是作品的邊界，而是被轉化為拱門、窗框與樑柱的建築主體。墨白將畫框轉化為空間的容器，使其宛如一座座微縮建築，進而承載了跨越時空的記憶。那些來自福州的復古花磚、南國潮濕的牆面、以及東西方交匯的文化符號，在被拆解後，又於這方寸間的場景中奇蹟重逢。

當繞著作品全方位觀賞，便能在那些既合理又失序的邊界，遇見一種如夢境般盤旋的建築詩意。

The frame transcends its boundary, evolving into the very architecture of the work. Mobai crafts each frame into a vessel of space—a miniature sanctuary for memories. Here, deconstructed fragments of vintage tiles and humid southern light find a new home, reuniting in a singular, intimate scene.

By engaging with these works from every perspective, one discovers a dreamlike architectural poetry—an exquisite interplay between the rational and the surreal.

有些時間是可以被看見的。

它在拱門與窗框的陰影裡，在光線穿行留白的縫隙中。
靜默之中，痕跡緩慢生成，構築起可停留的精神棲所。

Time, sometimes, can be seen.

It dwells within the shadows of arches and window frames, breathing through the gaps of light and negative space. Amidst the quietude, traces slowly come into being, building a sanctuary where the spirit may linger.

墨白個展《褶衷：空間折疊與精神棲所》已正式開展！

透過宣紙與木材的層疊，墨白將抽象的時間壓縮成可觸碰的厚度。空景之中，光線、空氣在留白的縫隙中穿行。每一件作品都不只是視覺的對象，而是一個個微型的建築構造，靜默地守候著記憶的痕跡。

展期至5月10日，誠摯邀請你走進這片褶衷，在靜默中與空間共振，感受時間如何在此被優雅地居住。

Through the delicate layering of xuan paper and wood, Mobai compresses abstract time into a tactile density. Within the quietude of the gallery, light and air breathe through the gaps of the "void". Here, each work transcends being a mere visual object; they are miniature architectural constructs, silently guarding the traces of memory.

Mobai’s solo exhibition, Folded Midst: A Dwelling for Space and Spirit, officially opens this Saturday (March 21st)!

Installation is now in full swing. We invite you to catch a glimpse of these microscopic moments as the works find their place—witnessing the transformation of raw matter into pure poetry. We are striving to find, within the space between the walls and the works, a recess capable of holding memory in suspension.
