Walking through CYCLES with Mit Jai Inn

Inspired by lunar phases and the recurring rhythms of time, the exhibition reflects on how cycles are not simply repeated patterns, but experiences shaped through movement, touch, and perception.

Through colour, texture, and the act of turning, Mit invites viewers to encounter painting as something that unfolds in both time and space.

On view through 07.04.2026

Enrico Isamu Oyama shares the ideas behind Aerosolic Forms, his first solo exhibition in Taiwan. Rooted in his long-standing engagement with aerosol writing, Oyama approaches aerosol paint not simply as a tool, but as a condition that reshapes how painting comes into being. Suspended in the air before settling onto the surface, pigment responds to distance, airflow, time, and environment—allowing painting to unfold through process, movement, and uncertainty.

The exhibition is now extended through 2026.07.04.

In Minor Keys, the 61st International Art Exhibition of La Biennale di Venezia, opens to the public on May 9, carrying forward the curatorial vision of the late Koyo Kouoh.

Drawing from the metaphor of music, minor keys hold tones of melancholy, strangeness, intimacy, and quiet resilience. In Kouoh’s vision, they invite us to listen differently, to the lower frequencies of memory, rupture, beauty, and transformation.

Sawangwongse Yawnghwe, invited to the 61st International Art Exhibition of La Biennale di Venezia by Koyo Kouoh, brings into this conversation a practice shaped by political history, cartographic imagination, and the fragile traces of Myanmar’s past and present.

What happens when writing leaves the body completely?

In selected works, Enrico Isamu Oyama uses laser engraving on antique name cards, where marks are no longer drawn by hand, but formed through light, time, and energy. Writing dissolves into trace, and the surface becomes a quiet record of something that never physically touched it.

Now On View

What if painting begins without touching the canvas?

In Aerosolic Forms, Enrico Isamu Oyama works with aerosol as suspended particles where pigment floats, shifts, and settles through air, time, and environment. Painting here shifts away from direct control, unfolding through conditions—an image that emerges before it fully arrives.
