Abingdon Historical Society Abingdon Historical Museum at 113 S. Main Street, Abingdon Open the 2nd and 4th Saturdays from 9 to 11 a.m. We were founded on November, 1997.

Our mission is to collect, store and display items pertaining to the City of Abingdon and the surrounding area.

Join us the 2nd Saturday in November ( November 8th) at 9 am for a new series on reproducing period quilts. This workshop is being presented by Ken Gough and will be the first of several sessions mixing old and new techniques.

We had a great turnout today by the 50 year club. Thank you to those who made a donation to us. If you would like to donate we are a 501(c) so you can take it as a tax deduction. Also thank you for those who made donations of items to the museum.
