Absolutely, positively, ALWAYS FREE to enter. We are a unique shop that sells art (serious and silly and everything in between) and unusual hand made, one of a kind gifts. Our artisans are from all over the Berkshire region; so a purchase here helps a local artist continue to make more amazing things. Come visit us today! Where did the name Real Eyes come from? Lots of folks ask us where the name for our gallery comes from. Well, we considered naming it, The Riley Gallery or even Bill Riley’s House Of Art and Gifts but none of the choices seemed to fit well.
Then we remembered an old family story from a vacation we were lucky enough to take many years ago. We had rented some houses on a farm in Italy for a full-on Riley family vacation (that was about 27 or 28 people back then) The signora who met us to open up the houses and settle us in had only read our name and not heard it spoken so when we met she called Bill signor RealEye. The vowel sounds were reversed and our children thought that was extremely funny…. We became the RealEyes family.
It fits. Real Eyes see real art. Real Eyes has been called the most beautiful art space in the region by all artists who have entered. Come on in and see if they were correct!
