🎉🚗 The Addison Center for the Arts was delighted to be part of the Addison-Medinah Shriners Parade last Sunday, August 30. The parade’s theme was “America @250: Let Freedom Ring!” We had a great turnout despite the rainy weather! Thank you to everyone who came out to support us and other participating organizations!

📢 ATTENTION, ARTISTS!

Join or renew your ACA membership and show your artworks in "Gathering" from September 19 through October 3, 2026!

Artworks drop-off date is fast approaching! The gallery will be open next Saturday, September 12, from 1-4 p.m. to accept pieces.

Please note: participating artists can submit up to three 2‑D or 3-D artworks in any media. Paintings must be wired for hanging; 3‑D works must be table‑ready. Email us at [email protected] prior to the drop-off date with the following information:
the number of pieces you plan to submit, artwork dimensions, and whether the pieces are 2‑D or 3‑D.

About the theme:
"Gathering" invites artists to explore moments of coming together -- people sharing an experience, a herd of animals moving as one, a vibrant bouquet arranged in harmony, or any design where elements unite. The theme is optional.

Entry Fee:

Non‑members: $15 per piece
Cash, check, PayPal accepted.

🚗🎉The Addison-Medinah Shriners Parade is tomorrow, August 30! Come see this spectacular event and support its participating organizations, including the Addison Center for the Arts! This year's parade theme is "America @ 250: Let Freedom Ring!"

🌿🎷Don't miss the final concert in the Addison Center for the Arts Summer Gazebo concert series! Reunion Jazz Orchestra will be performing tonight, August 25, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Addison Village Green. Join us for jazz, ballads, progressive, some Latin, and powerful big band rock! Please note that we are not expecting a food truck tonight, so bring your own picnics and beverages. The admission is free and open to the public.

🌿🎻 Thank you to Capriciosso String Quartet for gracing the Gazebo with their wonderful performance! The concert took place yesterday, August 18, at the Addison Village Green and featured a variety of classical and current music with a flair. We all had such a great time!
