On this Father’s Day, we celebrate a love that knows no bounds—the kind of love that moves mountains, conquers fears, and lights the way for a struggling child.
Karl Larsen’s story is a portrait of unconditional love: a father’s fear, devotion, and ingenuity channeled into action. He’s not just fundraising—he’s creating opportunity, community, and hope for a son who was found, nurtured, and finally allowed to flourish. Now, he’s reaching out to all who might help make it possible.
A Son With Challenges & Brilliance
Kane is a bright, complex 13‑year‑old. Diagnosed with Autism, ADHD, and ODD, the isolation from COVID-19 lockdowns left him glued to video games. His world shrank to a bedroom and a screen. Behavioral issues led to leaving public school behind. Yet amid this struggle, Kane’s brilliance shone through: he’s gifted in math, science, English, and social studies. But even with academic success, he struggles with basic life skills and social connection.
Karl’s love for Kane is deep and all-consuming. When he speaks of his son, tears well up—especially when he imagines a future.

A Creative Campaign for Kane
Refusing to give up, Karl partnered with Studio CT’s Nancy Fath to launch a GoFundMe. His creative solution? An exclusive limited run of 10 fine-art prints featuring the legendary guitarist Slash, each personally signed by Slash and Karl. These prints are being offered via http://www.LarsenFine.art (http://www.larsenfine.art/) with proceeds going directly to Kane’s tuition.
Karl’s plea is simple yet powerful:
“Every dollar contributed will go directly toward Kane’s tuition and giving him the chance to break free from the isolating world he’s been stuck in… With the right environment, I truly believe Kane can thrive.”
This Father’s Day, help Karl turn his love into action. Support Kane’s education—and give a father the peace of mind that, no matter what happens, his son will be okay.
