We’ve featured Olivia Evans before, but with The Root Experience Festival coming up, we think it’s worth shining a light on her work once again. ❤️

Olivia is doing incredible things in Spokane, helping create opportunities for artists, storytellers, and creatives to share their work and bring people together through culture and community.

The Root Experience is more than an event. It’s about making space for voices and perspectives that deserve to be seen, heard, and celebrated. We love seeing artists like Olivia putting in the work to make that happen right here in our community.

We’re proud to have Olivia represented at Battlegrounds Native Arts Market, and we encourage everyone to check out what she and The Root Experience are building.

We’re excited to spotlight Ali Kelly, a talented young Blackfoot artist creating truly unique and beautiful ledger art!

With the mentorship of one of our resident artists, Robert Charloe, and his wife, Denice, Ali is continuing to grow her skills and develop her own artistic voice while honoring an art form rich in history, culture, and storytelling.

It’s wonderful to see the next generation of artists learning, creating, and carrying these traditions forward in their own unique way. We look forward to seeing more of Ali's amazing work!

We are honored to feature the incredible work of Shane Stevens, a master flute maker of Paiute and Shoshone heritage, whose artistry reflects a deep appreciation for craftsmanship, sound, and cultural tradition.

We currently have three of Shane’s beautiful flutes available in our shop! Each flute is a special piece of artistry, crafted with care and carrying its own unique beauty and voice. 🎵
