Ive been working on a few changes to this window.
Excited to say, its the final & now you'll need to wait for the finished piece.
Can't wait to go glass shopping!

Today I got one of my 3 garden beds planted.
2 Roma's
1 Amish paste
1 sweet 100
Green beans
Cucumbers
Carrots
Radishes
Lettuce
zucchini
Potatoes were in buckets last week & I'm letting my Asparagus garden go to seed.
I'm finally getting that to come back around.
I'm going to continue to work on the 2 other beds, so they'll be ready to plant next spring.

I have to say, I've purchased patterns from a couple of these shops.
They look very ligit.
I already have trust issues with what I find on line, now this.
Im done with Esty.
I also bought a branding Iron to sign wood pieces & only found out after I paid that it was coming from some where in the UK.
I prefer to buy from small businesses in the US & support them.
Makes me feel scammed.
I will definitely be checking the seller better on the sites I visit.
At least Ebay let's you choose US only.

What a day!
I had it all planned out, drop off property taxes, get a copy made of the pattern, get my new tires installed & then do some shopping.
Well, as usual nothing goes as planned.
The boy's get all excited thinking their going with, I get all forgetful & walk out the door, leaving 1/2 of what I need, sitting on the counter.
Of course I realize, that 40 miles into my trip.
I also start thinking
"did I sign my check"
Now I'm stressed, but carry on.
Then the phone rings & I go on auto pilot, totally forgot the plan & just drive to the tire place, 45 minutes early for my appointment.
Kind of a bonus, I got in early, take a walk & replan my day.
Decided I'm going all the way back home, so I can get what I need done, done.
So on my way back I stopped at the court house to ask them to see if I signed my check. (Small town, so not a problem) of course the gal found it, last one in the pile & we all celebrated!
YES I signed it!
Whew.
With that out of the way I head back south to finish what I started.
Everything went as planned, the printer made the copy, without having to go back, I had enough rebates at my favorite store, to pay for my purchase.
Start to head back north & seen someone having a day like mine, it appears they tripped their gate, & spread sand down the left lane of the highway for about a quarter mile.
Ouch, not an easy clean up, during lunch hour traffic without shutting the lane down.
I took a back road & headed North.
All in all it was a great day. Got enough miles on my new tires, they will be torked in the morning.
Excited to go glass shopping, but first I need to tweek this pattern, there's just something about it, I dont like.
Oh & we got a little rain! Don't get much better than that.
So y'all have a fabulous weekend & I'll touch base soon.

Well after 1925 miles I'm back in the freezing cold north.
Once I get settled I'll post the date & time of the stain glass hummingbird class.
Excited I get to go glass shopping for a window I've designed for a customer!
Really excited to get back at it.
I always feel so lazy, for a few days & this cold weather dont help!

Good morning from the patio.
There's a story behind these 3 queen palms.
To say they are my babies is an understatement.
I put their age right around 14 years old.
I literally grew them from seeds.
I used to go to Florida every winter & stay with a couple of very good friends & they had one in a pot on their patio.
I said how much I loved it & wanted to know where I could get one.
Turns out they took seeds from their neighbors tree. So on his nightly walk, he grabbed me a bag full.
Now I have a green thumb, but I tried 7 ways from Sunday to get them to pop.
Zero luck, so in my frustration I decided to just dump them in a Ficus tree pot and wait.
One day I look & 4 of them finally did.
I carefully repotted them. Only 2 survived. Then out of nowhere I see one growing out of the ficus tree, big & healthy.
I wanted to take one back to Florida and plant it at my friends new house, in memory of our friend Sharol.
But....
Not a good Idea, since I now live in Arizona & they live outside.
The whole invasive insects thing.
So they'll just live out their lives here in Beautiful Arizona in Memory of him.
