Wisconsin P.O.W. (Prisoner of War) Camps during WWII

Most people are surprised to learn that there were 38 of them having a total of 20,000 POWs.

This presentation tells interesting stories of those who may have lived in a community that
once had a POW camp, those who worked side by side with POWs and those who were
once prisoners in a POW camp. You will find this presentation to be informative,
and entertaining.

It is being presented by Bob Block of Oregon, Wisconsin.

It will be held at 7PM at the Albany Historical Society located at 119 N, Water St, Albany, WI 53502.

Archaeological Dig of 1986-87.
Presented by John Ochsner.
This trading post was located between Albany and Brodhead on the Sugar River.

"Prohibition in Rock County (1920-1933)" by Robert Bier.

It will be held at the Albertson Memorial Public Library in Albany Wisconsin.

Look familiar to anyone? This was a grade school basketball program established in 1959-1960. The "Original Frogmen" team was established in 1961-1962.
