David Hinchen Gallery I'm an architectural artist who explores the mood and sense of place that old buildings create withi Illustrations make exceptionally meaningful gifts.

My paintings celebrate the visually absorbing shapes, colors, textures and eccentric details of the urban landscape. I've developed a completely original technique of using precise ink images with acrylic tones painted over each other, resembling thin semi-opaque layers. I'm also an avid photographer of vintage architectural elements - signs, statues, facades, subway mosaics and stained glass win

Reminder tomorrow is the opening for the Visible art show! 40 artists from New York and New England will be part of Visible, the Berkshire Art Association Biennial juried show at the Lichtenstein Center for the Arts. The show will open on Friday, October 4, 2024, and close on Sunday, November 30, 2024 Opening Reception Saturday, October 5, 2024, from 3-5 pm at the Lichtenstein Center for the Arts.

Looking forward to being included in the Salmagundi Club's 154th Annual Fall Auction and juried exhibition! My brand new painting of the iconic Dublin House neon sign will be available for purchase. Tonight is the opening reception and art preview for our biggest fundraiser of the year. For two special evenings, October 10th and 24th, a great philanthropic tradition returns to New York City as the local art scene prepares to converge on New York’s oldest continuous art auction, hosted each year by The Salmagundi Club. The public is also welcome to stop by and see the exhibition on Tuesdays through Sundays during the entire month of October.

We're also happy to announce that registration to bid online for our Fall Auctions is now open, in addition to registering to attend in-person. No matter where you reside or how busy your schedule, all art collectors have an equal opportunity to take home an original piece of art.
