● By 1863, a stone church was built at its current location on Highway EE, Green County, Wisconsin.

● A bell tower was added in 1904, and the congregation officially became The Norwegian Evangelical Congregation of Albany in 1871.

● In 1960, the name changed to Albany Lutheran Church, and the stone church remained in use until 1983.

● 1989 marked a new chapter: the stone church became the Norwegian Settlement Church Museum, preserving this historic site for generations to come.
