Greta Roskom is a fiber artist here at yucca! She enjoys drawing and painting but textiles are her favorite medium. From her vast collection of fabric scraps, she combines colors and shapes to create “interpretive” images of nature.

Our final featured artist of the month is Britta Brunet!
Britta has been painting since she was 12 years old - a passion rooted in her childhood spent creating alongside her grandma. Those early memories sparked a lifelong love for art, leading her to pursue her craft and develop her unique style over the years.

Today, she specialize in abstract realism, with a focus on animals. She’s drawn to the balance between precision and freedom — she loves painting small, thoughtful details while also embracing loose brushwork and bold, expressive color. Her preferred media are watercolor and acrylic, which allow her to blend control with spontaneity in every piece.

Jeremiah Cogan is our featured jewelry artist for March! He began trying lapidary just prior to retiring and this led to attempts at silversmithing. When he moved to Albuquerque, he decided to take classes to improve his silversmithing and lapidary skills. Most of his work includes cabochons he has made from stones he has found himself.
