📞🎉 HAPPY BIRTHDAY to the man who made “Can you hear me now?” possible — Alexander Graham Bell!
Before FaceTime.
Before cell phones.
Before “new phone who dis?”
There was a wild idea… to send voices through wires. 🤯
🔔 FUN FACTS:
• Bell’s first words on the telephone were: “Mr. Watson, come here, I need you.” some say, " Watson, come here I want to see you" etc but we believe what he actually said " #$!*" After having the acid accident couldn't be publicly stated * for sensitive ears, eyes & minds at the time.
• He never called his wife or mother on the phone — they were both deaf.
• He helped found what would later becomes AT&T.
• He didn’t just invent the telephone — he worked on aviation + sound technology too! ✈️🎧
From wired calls to wireless worlds… this invention changed EVERYTHING.
