Alburnett Community Historical Society Our mission is to preserve the past and share it with the present. Come and visit soon. We are also open during City wide events.

Established as a non-profit organization in 1995, the Alburnett Community Historical Society has a museum and archives located in the old Rockwood Store in downtown Alburnett. It is open to visitors on Thursdays from April through December, from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. Private tours are available and events can be scheduled by contacting the Historical Society.

For the month of June on even number years several of the vintage wedding dresses that have been donated to the Alburnett Community Historical Society are displayed in our dining room along with some history, photos and artifacts.
We invite you to stop in and view our wedding dress display and the rest of the museum. We will be open Saturday June 27th and every Thursday in June from 10:00am to 3:00pm.

We had many compliments on the use of the Alburnett Community Historical Society building for a graduation reception. They did a great job of setting up with seating for 70 and room to meet, greet and visit.
