Join us for the Muse Teen Plushie Making Workshop and learn basic sewing techniques while creating your own handmade plushie creature or animal. Whether you're new to sewing or looking to build your skills, this fun, hands-on workshop is the perfect place to get creative and make something uniquely yours.

Have you participated in a Muse workshop? Now’s your chance to showcase your work in the Muse Teen Art Exhibition.

Submit up to three pieces. Artwork does not have to be from a Muse workshop. School and personal work are welcome.

Artwork must be delivered to the museum and label information submitted

May 8
Exhibition opens at 6 p.m.

May 23
Last day to view the exhibition

May 27
Final day to pick up artwork

Works do not need to be framed but must be ready to hang.

Muse Teens! The Muse Art Exhibition is returning! Have you participated in Muse Workshops in 2025 or 2026? You can share your art at the Alexandria Museum of Art!

Artwork is not limited to work made in Muse Teen workshops. You can also work created at home or at school.

The weather is looking dicey earlier than anticipated. Stay warm and safe. Still want to create a diorama? Come to the Brainstorming Session on February 21.

Due to inclement weather, the Muse Teen Ecosystem Diorama Workshop scheduled for tomorrow afternoon has been cancelled. Stay safe and warm this weekend!

TEENS!

Teens will have the opportunity to learn to sculpt the human figure from life. We’ll have a live clothed model so teens can more accurately sculpt the figure in the round. This year we will be making permanent pieces to take home.
