I found out today that I will be representing the AMRA at the Douglas County Fair with my LEGO trains this year. Club members and friends of the club are welcome join us. I’m going due to some members having physical restrictions this year.

Hi guys following this page! We’re not sure about the Douglas County Fair yet this year. We keep asking, but haven’t gotten an answer yet. We’ve been working a bunch on the portable layout. It’s got some great new features that make it run better for us.

It is with great sadness the Alexandria Model Railroad Association has been notified they will need to vacate the space that has been our home since 2007.
We will be dismantling our club layout as we need to be out by August 31st 2022.
Presently the AMRA has no place to rebuild a new layout but the members will continue as a club until a new home can be found.
The AMRA would like to extend our sincere thanks to all the people and businesses that have supported us over the past 14-15 years.

Took trip to Alexandria to help AMRA with having trains at the Douglas County Fair Thursday 8/19/2021.
Dave Warren had his wonderful display of LEGO trains running for the visitors to the fair.

Managed to visit the Alexandria Model Railroad club May 1, 2021 but forgot to post updated pictures. Last fall the club decided to lower the backdrop between Minneapolis and St. Paul for better visibility in the room.
