According to the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America (AAFA) approximately 50,000 emergency room visits each year are due to anaphylaxis (a severe allergic reaction). Thanks to Inductee Sheldon Kaplan, countless lives have been saved through his invention of the EpiPen®.
