Multiple Exposures Gallery Multiple Exposures Gallery is a fine art photography gallery of the work of 15 award-winning photographers.

Their distinctly different artistic visions are presented through traditional and digital photographic techniques, including alternative processes. Founded in 1985, Multiple Exposures Gallery is widely recognized within the Washington, DC metropolitan area photographic community. The members are sought-after speakers, noted educators and traditional and digital photographic specialists and technicians. The gallery is always staffed by one of the members to assist you with purchases and to answer questions about photography. Based at the Torpedo Factory Arts Center in Alexandria, Virginia, the gallery mounts new exhibitions every six weeks, participates annually in the DC Fine Art Photography Fair, and periodically posts online exhibitions as well. The gallery, and its’ membership, is actively involved in many community outreach activities, including offering monthly coffee-and-critique events open to the public. Membership includes:

In Soomin Ham's "Window" series, she layers photographs of the same scene across four seasons, allowing fragments of Korea and the U.S. to overlap.

The subtle gray that emerges from the merging of these two worlds is not a clear sense of belonging, but rather an acceptance of uncertainty and ambiguity.

This series is part of Soomin's IN GRAY photography exhibition at MEG, on view through this Sunday, October 11.

IN GRAY, a fine art photography exhibition by Soomin Ham, enters its final weeks at MEG!

The exhibition consists of three series of photographs. Soomin shares: "In Recollections, I approached the entire wall as a canvas, arranging the photographs like fragments of memory scattered across a landscape. Although the images come from different times and places, together they form what I think of as a “memoryscape”—a space where incomplete and overlapping recollections coexist."

This Saturday, September 19, from 11AM-5PM, meet photographer and multimedia artist Soomin Ham.

Soomin's exhibition, IN GRAY, tells a deeply personal story of what it means to have two homes, yet never fully belong to either.

She shares, "Upon returning to Korea, the home I once knew, I discovered that I no longer belonged there. Too many years had passed; memories had faded, and the place I carried within me had changed. Yet in the United States, the place I now call home, I did not belong there either. An outsider in both worlds, I wandered in-between—a gray area."
