Alice Historical Society was reincorporated in January 2012. AHS received 501(c)(3) status Sept 2012

STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

The Alice Historical Society shall first and foremost act as a steward of the rich cultural heritage and history of the town of Alice and surrounding areas of our high mountain community. We will inspire and foster the love of local history in the youth of Clear Creek County and all visitors to the area by presenting engaging and accessible exhibits. We will encourage the pr

eservation of historical sites, structures, artifacts and other antiquities; support study and research into the historical information pertaining to the town of Alice, the past and present families of Alice and surrounding areas; collaborate with other small museums in Clear Creek County; engage speakers from the community and former residents to speak or write about local history and their memories of Alice.
