Sometimes things don’t work. Even the most careful designs sometime fail. Even though God is sovereign and is in full command of all things, consider how the world is today compared to his original design. It’s a hot mess. and why? because we keep trying to fix it with our own striving efforts and faith in ourselves.

Go back into the old testament into the books of 1st & 2nd Kings & Chronicles- The nation of Israel was in absolute turmoil. near-ruin, on the verge of social split. People prayed to God to raise up a leader to salvage broken Israel. God obliged though it was far from what Israel needed. Each leader was worse than the one before- Kings and queens Setting God aside or removing him entirely, while tripping over themselves just to rise to power. All failed.

SHARING POINT- Soon God would bring his ultimate design to fruition, by bringing the one true king to Israel. The King of Kings and Lord of Lords – His word become flesh, Christ Jesus birthed to the world to be the perfect Messiah, the perfect lamb that would ultimately be given for the perfect sacrifice.

This is how GOD fixed things-But not in the sense that we look around today. Christ’s death on the cross forever cleansed sins from those who claim HIS NAME in their hearts. Jesus didn’t come to make all new things- he came to make all things new. Many misinterpret that and misunderstand it. For those who are in our in Christ, they are a new creation- And that is the ultimate fix.

“So take me as you find me – all my fears and failures, filled my life again”

Our God is mighty to save.

Jesus teaches in (Matthew 17:20) that faith -even the size of a mustard seed is enough to command the mountains to move.

But it’s genuine faith that he is talking about- Faith that is completely surrendered and resting solely in the arena of complete trust that we need a savior for our lives. It is THIS faith that enables Peter to walk partially across the water before his fear took him over.

Fear and uncertainty can crush faith. But through Christ and those IN Christ (meaning that you invite Jesus Christ to become the author of your life, to take up residency in your heart and completely change everything from the inside out,) - those IN Christ, through him all things are possible (Paul’s letter to the Philippians 4:13)
______________
SHARING POINT - This does not necessarily mean that we can walk off of buildings and fly across the sky. But what it DOES mean is that with Christ and through Christ within us, WE CAN crush all things that crush us – anxiety, fear, uncertainty, depression, loneliness, anger, bitterness, harbored trespasses, broken hearts, broken relationships, ALL THINGS.

What obstacles are in the way in your life? What Seemingly insurmountable mountains are you faced to climb? Call upon the power of Christ in your heart. Let the Holy Spirit come in and work within you.

See how our God is mighty to save!

GOD MOMENT - So I’m really trying not to show the same thing all the time but I was still wrestling where to place the characters in the the scene, so I turn off the work light to take a break and as I started to walk around the table to clean up -I was struck looking at these natural sun rays coming from the window across the painting. Invisible unless I had turned off my work light. Talk about surrender. Couldn’t resist – I had to show you guys. Now I know where Jesus is going!✅🔛😳 wow ’sGo ofTheBoat

Going forward, each day will be a post either with a new piece in progress or an encouraging message to share from what I feel the Lord is teaching me through study and prayer.
Followers are welcomed of course- but do not follow me – instead sell everything of personal comfort and value; leave everything and follow Christ. (Jesus’ instruction to his disciples in Matthew 16:24). I hope that my work and my posts will serve as encouragement to build up the body, to further grow the gospel outside of our churches. My Challenge to you is the same as the great commission given to each of us from Christ: Reach someone. Love someone. Share with someone. Encourage someone. Build one another up. Pray for one another. Forgive one another. Occasionally the work seen in my posts will be Available and all proceeds will be going to support new & struggling church-plant and neighborhood outreach ministries. ‘s

Feeling good about going in this direction. Now just trying to layer the waves out at sea and figure out where everybody else needs to go. Based on the passage from Matthew 14:22–33. Jesus calling Peter out onto the water. ofTheBoat
