Flashback Friday from 2020 with Delon Jensen!

Sometimes the smallest sculptures tell the biggest stories!

These beautifully detailed bronze sculptures by Delon Jensen capture quiet moments of life in the American West. From a cowboy stopping to admire a desert flower to a peaceful encounter outside a tipi, each piece tells a story through its carefully sculpted figures, expressions, and surroundings.

We especially enjoy the attention to detail and the character Delon brings to these miniature scenes. There is so much to discover in each piece!

Flashback Friday from 2001, "Kristina" by Dennis Smith!

Sculpted as a homage to Dennis's Great-grandmother who in the 1800's immigrated from Denmark to America.

In Dennis's own words he desribes this sculpture: "She(Kristina) stands on the west coast of Denmark looking out to sea, pondering the realization that soon she will be leaving all that she has known. At the same time, she knows that a new life awaits, new hope and new possibilities for her and her loved ones. "

"Kristina was created to represent the many emigrants who left their homes to search for their dreams in America. Looking out to sea, she realizes that soon she will be leaving all that she has ever known. At the same time, she knows that a new life awaits, with renewed hope and new vision herself and her loved ones."

What a beautiful story and tribute.

“Freedom Eagle” by Steve Streadbeck

This has always been a favorite of mine. The beautiful tones with the movement of the eagle in flight, make this such a striking sculpture.

I especially love how the colors work together in the natural light. It’s a beautiful piece from every angle.

Flashback Friday to 2014!
"Harmony" by Karl Jensen

There is a wonderful sense of humanity in Karl Jensen’s work. Through the human form, expression, and gesture, he captures moments of tenderness, strength, joy, and connection. His sculptures invite you to appreciate not only the beauty of the figures themselves, but also the emotion and relationships they represent.
