ARK is not a space that is generally open to the public. It is a private space and is only open when we open it for an exhibition or concert that is curated by Kira Vollman. We hope to have it available to rent sometime in the spring of 2024. When it becomes available, it will be for short term rentals. There are no more work only studios. There is now one large gallery space. Here is a progress video for the new and improved gallery space. We will update this info in early 2024. Pricing and terms of the rental will be in the update. Thank you!

ARK will be on an extended hiatus. Just when I thought we could get back to shows, this came up. We have been made an offer that is too tempting to not give a try. Someone will be coming in with a new business model. The gallery and studios will be gutted. Actually, I am gutted over this. Floating walls were moved into my studio yesterday. I am moving more today. I am not at liberty to discuss details about the new business at this time. I hope to see you all again in the future.

ARK Presents: In Voluntary Gestures

These are and have been very strange times. One cannot afford to be proud. In an effort to help artists in need, especially in need due to any hardship experienced as a result of the pandemic, ARK is going to attempt to present a series of exhibitions. The idea behind these exhibitions is to offer ‘you’ the opportunity to help an artist.
Kira Vollman, of ARK, will curate this series. It will be based on offering the public an art experience where any and all proceeds from sales and/or from donations will go to the artist. Many shows have few to no sales. Not a problem! Taking a page from the ARK concerts handbook, there will be a Donation Box. We invite you to come and visit with the artist and their work. The donation box gives you the opportunity to help the artist anonymously.

The first exhibition will be presenting the work of Kate Carvellas. We are planning for an opening in mid May.
Details and Covid protocols will be posted when we have things more nailed down.

Two years ago! This was the last concert at ARK before the pandemic hit. Damn. Not sure when it will be safe to have another concert. Waiting. I think that is all I am doing...waiting. You?
