As we get ready to celebrate America250, we will take a look back at our rich history. We will look back to a time when our country was celebrating our 100th birthday, in 1876. The railroads and its workers played a major role on the growth of our nation, which allowed our country to reach milestone birthdays.

Looking for UTV drivers at the Horseshoe Curve National Historic Landmark!

🚂 LOOKING FOR YOUR NEXT ADVENTURE? JOIN OUR CREW! 🚂

Do you love local history, spending time outdoors, and helping others? The Horseshoe Curve National Historic Landmark is looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join our team as Utility Vehicle (UTV) Drivers!

If you've got a great attitude and love meeting people from all over the world, this is the perfect gig for you.

🛠️ What You’ll Do:
Operate our UTV safely around the historic landmark grounds.
Provide vital mobility assistance, helping visitors navigate the site comfortably.
Transport individuals to the top observation area and back down.
Be a friendly face and a helping hand during regular business hours and exciting special events!

📅 The Schedule & Flexibility:
We are looking to fill shifts during our normal business hours (Wednesday – Sunday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM) as well as during special events.

We have options to fit your lifestyle:
The Full-Timer: One dedicated individual willing to cover 40 hours per week.
The Co-Pilots: Multiple individuals looking to give 10–15 hours per week.
(Note: This is scheduled volunteering, so you'll always know your shifts ahead of time!)

Join us for an evening at the Railroaders Memorial Museum Benefit Dinner, Thursday, July 9, 2026, at the Blair County Convention Center.

This event will feature retired Norfolk Southern CEO, Wick Moorman as our keynote speaker, presenting “21st Century Steam… and Beyond”, an inspiring look at the vision, passion, and dedication behind preserving America’s steam locomotives.

Guests will enjoy an elegant dinner, a silent auction, and exclusive look at the Union Pacific Steam Era Exhibit.

VIP ticket holders will also attend a private reception from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. with industry leaders. VIPs will receive a more curated experience with the Union Pacific Steam Era Exhibit and priority seating that is closest to the stage.

You can purchase a Reserved Full Table (seats 😎 or Individual Tickets.The evening program and dinner will follow from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m.
